Purgatory, Inc. is a satirical comedy that tells the story of Clerk, a new employee of the eternal bureaucracy that is Purgatory, Inc. – the IRS of the afterlife.  Death happens, comedy begins.

Pilot

Christopher McNamee, a young man, dies after getting hit in the head by a suitcase dropped from a passenger aircraft flying over his kayak. He’s been a good person his entire life, and should be an easy candidate for Catholic Heaven, except for one slight problem: He’s Catholic… and married… to a man! Of course, Purgatory, Inc. has a very clear and specific non-discrimination policy; as it states on the letterhead “We don’t judge… We process.” Christopher, on the other hand, isn’t so detached about it.
